Will Greenwood is most closely associated with Leicester Tigers, for whom he scored 307 points in 151 matches as a centre who combined blinding speed with good footwork and intelligent positioning. He also played with distinction for Preston Grasshoppers, Waterloo and Harlequins, with whom he had two periods.
Blackburn-born Will was awarded an MBE after helping England win the World Cup in 2003. He played in all but one of the games and his tries against South Africa and Wales were crucial in helping England reach the final. In all, he scored 155 points in 55 matches and he twice represented the British Lions. Will works with the Sky team and is respected for his in-depth tactical knowledge.
In his after-dinner speeches he mixes gripping facts with a sharp wit.
