Nicky’s speech includes humorous stories on boxing, past and present, tales of working in television and the celebrities he’s worked with.
Being an avid golf player and fan, Nicky has some great golf stories. Being a Welshman and having presented BBC rugby programmes, he also has some funny rugby stories.
Being a Director of the British Boxing Board of control, Nicky is able to speak on the current day politics of Boxing with authority and qualification.
He is also a member of the Sports Council for Wales and the chairman of the SE Wales Sportslot Committee, responsible for distributing over £1 million annually to various causes.
He is, therefore, knowledgeable on a wide range of sporting subjects. He also sits on the National Panel for Wales, which is responsible for deciding which elite athletes receive lottery funding in the Principality.
